Prague Day 1

sunny

Took the train from Salzburg to Prague. Next day I walked over the famous Charles Bridge connecting the Old Town and Prague Castle. Got there just in time for the changing of the guard. Then I toured Prague Castle including the St. Vitus Cathedral and the Royal Palace.

Mauthausen

overcast

I took the train to Mauthausen Concentration Camp. It was a bleak, cold day, which brought home even more powerfully the stark reality of this camp whose purpose was extermination through labor.
